BUDDE
Description:
Introducing ZENIT, a collection of light sculptures created by BUDDE for the Design Beyond Things exhibition at Expo Osaka 2025. Drawing inspiration from architectural shapes and the dynamic interplay of light and shadow, these sculptures feature minimalist rectangular forms with clean, precise cuts beneath square tops—each piece unique yet harmonious as a trio. Enhanced by indirect lighting directed downward to highlight their contours, they foster an ever-changing dialogue between light and material.
BUDDE is renowned for its experimental approach to materials, constantly pushing design boundaries through collaborations with cutting-edge production experts. This reflects Germany’s leadership in technological innovation and industrial craftsmanship. The sculptures incorporate integrated lighting technology and concealed wiring, ensuring a sleek, refined appearance. Beyond their functional role as indirect lighting, they serve as artistic statements—encouraging reflection and mindful aesthetic choices. Ultimately, ZENIT exemplifies how new manufacturing methods can elevate design, shaping meaningful experiences and transformative spaces.
